Angus Robertson Mechanical Limited (ARM) specialises in the design and manufacture of rollforming and coil processing machinery.

The company was founded in 1993 by Angus Robertson who led his team of experienced design and manufacturing engineers from the company’s well-appointed factory in Eyrewell, close to Christchurch, New Zealand.

Built on a strong business ethic, ingenuity in design and manufacture and a commitment to provide clients with industry-leading high-quality products that meet and exceed their requirements and expectations, the company enjoys an enviable reputation – locally and abroad.

We’ve supplied hundreds of bespoke, standard industry rollformers and other coil processing machines to clients throughout New Zealand, Australia, Vietnam, Algeria, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand and Ghana.

Rollform machines are primarily built for the building industry where products are formed into roofing, steel frame and purlin construction, garage doors and other specialist applications.

What we do

  • Production Improvement – in an increasingly competitive marketplace we constantly improve quality, productivity and safety standards to meet the requirements of informed clients;
  • Process Improvement – ongoing modernisation of control systems and incorporation of pre- and post-processes;
  • Product Change – upgrading a product profile or changing it completely to make a new product on an existing line;
  • Designing and building new Rollforming Lines – from the de-coiler to the forming and punching process and run-out tables;
  • Design and building of other mechanical equipment, including curving and forming machines; CNC-controlled machines (sheet punching and other applications); sheet and coil handling.
